The St. Augustine Community Chorus will add their collective voices to a masterworks concert celebrating rejuvenation.
Much as the Earth emerges to the light in Spring so will our spirits as we perform from parts 2 and 3 of The Messiah. Handel’s work includes familiar pieces such as The Hallelujah Chorus and Worthy is the Lamb. This is an opportunity to hear some rarely performed but equally moving pieces.
Join SACC as we take you on a journey through the passion to the redemption. SACC’s goal is to include works by living composers in all of our programs. In the prelude to the Messiah our concert will include these more modern works. We will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra as we invite you to experience “Emerging Light” with St. Augustine Community Chorus as part of the Romanza Festivale.
